Cigarettes kill 1300 people on average, every day,
We are a huge group of people who demand that our rights are not stepped on under the false veil of protecting kids.
The hypocritical flavor ban in any state makes no sense, there are flavored liquors, we advertise sugar and prescription drugs to children, damaging their health on a daily basis. This is clearly a way to keep big tobacco from losing profits and everyone can see that.
One thing we can all agree on is that vaping is killing big tobacco, something that has been necessary for decades.
Do not get in the way of the future, because no ban can stop it. This is America, where Adults should be allowed to decide what they put in their bodies, especially if it helps them quit a deadly habit.
This is America where parents have to take responsibility for raising their kids and companies that do seek children are punished, just like any liquor store or tobacco company.
This is America where we know in our hearts that putting profits before people when it comes to their health is the ultimate sin.
The continued attempts to ban flavors for e-cigarettes on a national level is misguided. It should be noted that public health departments are linking vaping-related hospitalizations to THC-containing products, which are often purchased on the black market.
Even FDA investigators have found that altered THC products are likely the cause. There has been no indication that industry standard nicotine-containing vapor products are to blame for the recent cases of lung illness.
Banning flavors in e-cigarettes over the illnesses caused by THC products makes no sense. A flavor ban will not stop the black market from using vitamin E acetate or other harmful oils/chemicals to cut their THC products. A move like this will only hurt the millions of adult ENDS (electronic nicotine delivery system) users who rely on flavors to make the switch from cigarettes, along with the thousands of businesses that serve these people.
Banning flavors will not stop kids from possibility vaping just like banning flavored liquor has not stopped kids drinking.
A study by the New England Journal of Medicine found that vapor products are nearly twice as effective at helping adults quit smoking than any other nicotine replacement methods like the patch or pill. And the Royal College Of Physicians and Public Health England have concluded that nicotine-vapor products are at least 95% safer than cigarettes. Per the CDC, cigarettes kill 1300 people on average, every day, in the US. We need to keep the ENDS industry alive and available to the people who have made the switch and to those who are still addicted to cigarettes.
